To God—True Love

Let me cocoon in love pristine from You.

If Ye doth love me fast, all will be well.

Let nada this day I would find to rue.

Enthrall my soul, keep it all safe, n’er sell.

When I do feel Your love, I am so kiss’

Life flows so very smoothly, good this day.

Let end my negativity—resist!

Let day be bright with sun, abounding ray.

I need Ye now, my God, my Love, my All.

Keep me so sound I know no fear nor scare.

Be with me now, list’ to me when I call.

I love Ye much, so much, as much I dare.

This be not error black, but truth to say.

This be true love, indeed, my God, this day.

I have written both love and divine sonnets in the Elizabethan style for a long time. Now I am gradually adding them to a blog. Most are dedicated to my husband.
